What is TMT (Treadmill Test)?

A Treadmill Test (TMT), also known as a Cardiac Stress Test, is a non-invasive diagnostic procedure used to evaluate how the heart performs during physical exertion. During the test, the patient walks on a treadmill while their heart rate, blood pressure, breathing, and ECG are continuously monitored. The intensity of the exercise gradually increases, allowing doctors to assess how well the heart copes with stress.
